Talk with Perento. Talk with Piros. Find Lamidros. Destroy Balaur Guardian Stones (5). Dispose of Guardian Drafala (1). Report the result to Perento. Order: Heiron's leaders plan to strike a blow against the invading Balaur. Go to the fortress and meet Brigade General Perento.
Brigade General Perento said the Balaur seized a barracks in Heiron. He told you to meet Piros at the Kishar observation post.
Piros told you to destroy the Balaur Guardian Stones that neutralized the Aether and allowed the Balaur to survive in Elysea. He sent you to Lamidros, a spy disguised as a monitor lizard.
Lamidros told you that the Balaur Guardian Stones were in the Nute Warrens. You destroyed the Balaur Guardian Stones and Guardian Drafala. When you returned to Brigade General Perento, he said plans were underway to destroy the Indratu Legion.
Full quest's text: Show/Hide
All the Daevas are fighting the Balaur in the Abyss. But we've got Balaur--full-grown, honest-to-Aion Balaur--right here in Heiron.
No one seems to care.
The Balaur opened up an Abyss Gate at the Indratu Barracks. I doubt they'll stay there for long.
I know! The Aether that flows through Elysea is supposed to be anathema to the Balaur. Somehow, they're resisting it.
Our forces are tied up in the Abyss. Every time I send a report about the Balaur in the Indratu Barracks, my superiors ask me, "Are you sure they aren't ordinary Drakan troopers?"
Player, you've earned a lot of respect throughout Elysea. Can you investigate the Indratu Barracks and report what you've seen firsthand?
Don't just wade into the Balaur. We can provide you with some useful intelligence first.
Meet Piros, who is in Kishar Observation Post.
I think Piros has a way to infiltrate their lair safely. Do as he says, and he'll get you inside.
You're the Daeva who's going to deal with the Balaur at Indratu Barracks? Excellent. I've figured out how the Balaur can stay here.
It's the Balaur Guardian Stones--they repel the Aether itself! That's why the blasted Balaur can walk freely throughout the barracks.
Get rid of the Balaur Guardian Stones, Player. The flow of Aether will weaken the Balaur...maybe kill them or force them to retreat.
First, go to the Monitor Farm near their lair, and meet our agent Lamidros.
He can tell you where the Balaur Guardian Stones are. He's been watching the Balaur for some time, disguised as a monitor lizard.
I'll send you there when you're ready to depart. Let me know when you want me to teleport you.
You didn't reach the Monitor Farm?
We can certainly try again. I hope this time's the charm.
Let me know when you're ready.
Arieluma, Daeva. I don't get many...two-legged visitors.
What are you doing here, of all places?
Piros works quickly. As soon as I sent him a report on the Balaur Guardian Stones, I knew he'd send someone to destroy them.
The Balaur Guardian Stones are easy to find--they're scattered all over the Nute Warrens northwest of here. The entrance looks like the mouth of a dragon. However, the place is filled with Draconutes and Nagas.
First, smash all the Balaur Guardian Stones in the warrens. Then, dispose of Guardian Drafala. We don't want them to repair or replace the stones right away.
Well done, Player. Truly, the Seraphim Lords blessed you today.
With the Balaur Guardian Stones gone, the Aether itself will weaken those Balaur and make them cry for mercy! Also, Guardian Drafala is gone...
...which should disrupt their internal defenses. It's high time we started making plans to finish off the Balaur and their "Indratu Legion"...with your help, Player.
